Among Heroes in Search for a Drummer
Our drummer recently left us and we are in search of someone who is truly committed to playing in a band and enjoys playing music. We want music to be our career and want who ever is interested in drumming for us to have the same view. The direction of our band has taken a different turn from our current material going more in a rock direction in the vain of Circa Survive, Saosin, Alexisonfire, Thursday, and Dredg. Our old direction was influenced by bands such as Killswitch Engage, Underoath, Coheed and Cambria, and Funeral for a Friend. Bassist & Drummer wanted-Male or Female for cover/original rock
This is primarily a cover project with some originals thrown in. Doing all kinds of songs from classic rock like Kiss and Sabbath to metal like Maiden and maybe some Slayer. There is a little bit of everything else from Alanis to Alice in Chains thrown in there too! We play a wide variety of music, so there may be some top 40 tunes in there as well, since we like to bring a crowd who is into all genres of music. We plan to bring a little something for everyone. This band is female fronted and we are searching for a drummer and bass player to complete this line up. Must have own equipment and transportation. 21 and over only please. If you have background vocal ability that would be a plus, but it isnt required. You don't have to be an AMAZING player, just a good player with a good personality who can work with us as a team. We don't mind having an average player who strives to be a better musician and has the personality to help make a band successful. As musicians we never stop growing and learning, so perfection is not what we are after.
A band is a family, and we want 2 like minded individuals to complete the family!!
We would be happy to send you a tentative song list, but we would also like the input of the bassist and drummer as far as what they would like to ad as far as songs.
