Blues/Jazz/Rock Drummer needed
Looking for person with good personality, should know your dynamics, good improvisational ability, excellent timing & back-up vocals a plus. Able to follow Bass line loop, 8 to 36 bar. (Not that there will always be phrase sampler, but you got to be able to deal with it, as the song says! Like having a click track, almost) We have a great time playing in the studio or performing, and are serious about the quality of our music and sound. With that in mind, must be willing to rehearse to lock in the tunes and feel into the various grooves. Should not need to be said no heavy drinkers or excessive drug users. looking for disciples of christ who rock
I am a 52 year old Christian male who wants to form a band to serve and glorify God to get the gospel out through original music. I play guitar and want to get better by playing with others to get to the next level, I do not like mainstream christain rock music of today. I like the old hymns and would like to find others who like them as well by doing up to date versions plus writing original music. I have been playing and taking lessons almost 4 years. I know how to read music and looking for the same as it is vital to becoming a better musician. Looking for a singer, bassist , keyboard and second guitar. The bands that I listen to and influence me that are christian is a mixture of Metal, Rock and Blues, They are Bloodogood, Stryper, Watchmen, Barren Cross, WhiteCross, Ken Tamplin, Seventh Power,Third Day and Darrel Mansfield as well as the old hymns. Any interested reply. Serious inquiries only!!! Have had replies from people not committed. This isn't about the music it's about spreading the gospel and glorifying God. So you have to have free time right now and this must be a priority! We all face problems and battles in our Christian walk, but I have had people contact me and only one person is serious and is ready to start this project. So if you have lyrics, songs written or are in the process and need others to complete what you have lets get together for god! This is also about fellowship and helping each other out. We are all disciples of christ and we can spread his gospel and bring other to christ with the gifts and talents he has given us.

Seeking Full Time Drummer For Touring Band
Seeking Full Time Drummer For Touring Band: "Squeezebox" has become a full time job for us. In addition to performing over 100 jobs a year in close to 20 states a year and 1 cruise a year for the past 3 years, we have amassed a fan base of over 5000 fans in 40+ states, Canada, and abroad. We send out a newsletter twice a year with a list of our playing engagements, band news, recording order form, and other info promoting the band. We have currently recorded 2 CD's which have received high accolades and the second of which was awarded "recording of the year" by 2 different organizations. Mollie, the female vocalist has been named the USPA Female Vocalist of the Year for 2 consecutive years, and Ted, the bandleader, is a two time GRAMMY NOMINEE. Pay starts at $20K per year and goes up from there depending on what all musician brings to the table and number of performances they are available for. The traveling got to be too much for our original drummer (who has full time job and family in addition to band) and is now only filling in with us when we need him to and when he's available. We expect someone clean cut with a positive attitude that is willing to learn our niche genre of music and takes direction well from me, the bandleader. No drugs nor heavy alcohol use will be tolerated. You must have a valid driver's license for we all take turns behind the wheel when we're traveling. Must be willing to travel and be available for a minimum of 90% of the gigs to get the full time job. Drummer can start as soon as possible, but I imagine most drummers not versed in our genre of music will need a month or two of prep before they're ready to hit the road. I will cover gas expenses for any rehearsals once you have made it through the initial audition.
