Keyboard Player Needed:
Singer looking for accomplished keyboard musicians to accompany singer in performances that include parties, corporate functions and weddings. Gigs will involve singer and keyboardist performing songs from several music genres.
Requirements:
Musicians will be required to play one instrument, the Yamaha portable electronic keyboard or the Yamaha music keyboard synthesizer. Only musicians who have a musical instrument with the Yamaha brand and their own professional gear/sound system equipment will be considered. Musicians must have good improvisational skills. Previous experience with gigs is a plus, but not necessary for this position. What is necessary is for the musician to have a professional attitude. Once committed to a gig, won’t flake out. On time to rehearsals and gigs, and have their own reliable transportation.
Compensation:
Pay range from $300 to $1,050 per gig. Salary is based on the type of event.
Audition:
Audition will be held at the Star Factory, 13305 Capital St., Oak Park, MI on Saturday, March 3, 2012 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Musicians will be required to play songs from three different genres at audition. Please bring resume along with sound system equipment to the audition.

hard rock band seeking drums and bass
We are a relatively new band with big aspirations. We just lost our drummer and bassist andare looking to keep our momentum going! We have 8 completed original songs and 3 that are almost complete and another 6 ready to start. We have played a few shows with positive feedback. We have a new PA. And basic gig ready guitar and vocal gear. Though we play quite a few covers, We are looking to do all original shows. We are looking for musicians who are creative and can come up with their own material and are team players. Between the age of 21-35. another big issue is that we need a commitment. someone who can show up to practice at least once a week, usually a weekend day. We want to be gig ready by the end of feb. so the commitment is needed! We have some gigs that we can line up, and have some friends who have a single out on the wrif, who are willing to helop with recording and getting more shows!
