Pop/Dance/Rock Singing group looking for male singers (15-22)
I am a songwriter/engineer with a professional studio and a lot of songs in my inventory. I'm looking to put together a pop singing group of males ages 15-21 (flexible)
There will be no money involved, except maybe gas to drive to my studio.
The plan is to record 5-6 songs as a demo and shop it around, get gigs, and hopefully get some attention.
Not too worried about looks, I am more interested in talent. People with a demo/picture will get priority, though. Myspace/Facebook links are fine.
Playing an instrument is a plus but not needed.
Please take this seriously. I am looking for people who would be committed to this project. Recording is a long process. These will be long sessions.

Jax Florida drummer/singer looking for cover band to gig A LOT
I'm a drummer / singer looking to play in a cover band that plays 70's / 80's classic rock with a few originals strategically mixed. I like a WIDE variety of music - a good band should have an arsenal of songs that will please everybody in the crowd, not just their friends.I'm 40, but look 25, and have DEEP knowledge of all music over the past 50 years. I would like to play more obscure covers, when possible, as opposed to the standards (though I realize you HAVE to play the standards). Songs like "No No Song" by Ringo Starr,"Last Resort" by Eagles, "For You" by Bruce Springsteen, "Whole Of The Moon" by Waterboys,"Every Kinda People" by Robert Palmer, "Strawberry Letter 23" by Brothers Johnson, "Couldnt Get It Right" by Climax Blues, "Wear Your Love Like Heaven" by Donovan, "Black Water" by Doobie Bros, or anything off the Hall & Oates cd - Abandoned Luncheonette.I also love the new retro bands like Noisettes, Thrills, Coconut Records, MGMT. My idea of the PERFECT cd is "Utopia Parkway" by Fountains Of Wayne, or "Songs In The Key Of Life" by Stevie Wonder, "Takin It To The Streets" by Doobie Bros. I was born in the U.S. but know the Russian Language pretty well and am a skilled Lyricist in the USA style of rap. I have an idea to integrate my skills in American Rap with those of a Russian Rapper's skills, like the skills of the Russian Rappers mentioned above, to start something new in this rap game. It'd help if you lived in the South Florida Area so we can collaborate. Basta already made this possible to be a success with his crossover hit "Mama" that was featured in the GTA IV Game, and with my vision of mixing that style of Russian Rap with my skills in US Rap, I think that we can do something that people never heard of before and would very much feel.
