Hey, we are a band of three, guitarist, drummer, and bassist, and are looking for a lead singer. We play a lot of old classic rock covers but are in the proses of writing our own music. The age limit is 14-19. We really love the band Rush and play a lot of them. We take our music very serious and are looking for someone who takes it as serious as we do. The bassist, Philip Baglione,18, works at Guitar Center, so we pretty much have the musical equipment within good reach. We have great music equipment already thought. His engineering credits include (first engineer) , Tupac, "Thug Life", Sting, Michael Jackson, “The Roots”, Tracie Spencer, “ Take That” (Robbie Williams group) Mark "Marky Mark" Wahlberg, Eazy E., Ice T., M.C.Ren, "Digital Underground", "The Pharcyde", Rodney O’ and Joe Cooley, and Coolio. He is also mixing on an ongoing bases for the “Bone Thugs N Harmony”.
As well as engineering he created and produced a video series entitled “The Basics of Home Recording” which went to several thousand stores and has been a standard in the industry for more than 10 years. Volume 4 “The Complete Guide to Mixing” is used in many recording schools in the U.S. as part of their mixing curriculum. Looking for Teen 14-16 Singer for Rock Band
My band is currently in San Diego around the College area. We are a TEEN band! The style of music we are shooting for is something like Evanescence. If that fails, we would like to do something like Red Hot Chili Peppers. The members will make up the kind of music we play! Guitarist and I (bassist) are going to record some random stuff we are going to do. It will happen soon... I just need to find the midi cord. We seek a vocalist! We preferably desire a female singer but if you seem to attract us, we may accept a guy. If you can play second guitar, then you have a higher chance of attracting us to you. That also goes for keyboards/piano! Remember, we are a TEEN band! Youngest member is, ohh, 11? That is not exactly teen, but it's the only drummer that I know and I don't want to spam a bunch more "Looking for random Drummer" ads. Our opened singer position is open to teens between the age of 14-16. Older is better. Teens have their voices changed while going through puberty. We can also make an exception in the age due to desperation and despair.

You must be willing to come into the college area, 92115, of San Diego, CA for practice. I have a sound proof basement that we can play in, plus we have the studio all to ourselves. I am learning how to record, so we could take a car and hop in the studio at any time to record an album. We already have a lead guitarist and a bassist (me). We may have a drummer (my cousin) but it is still pending. More than likely, he will give in to us and start jamming. Or band name is still pending and will happen later because the band members all together must make the name. Why play in a band and not take pride in the name, right? Looking for female singer along with drummer
We are looking for a singer that can hit Evanescence and/or kittie style music. this band is looking to play this type of music.. but we will see how it goes. Also looking for a drummer!
Our band name is not official... (I personally hate choosing it) but we are looking at either Najena or something else. It will come later.

Drmmer wanted Long Beach close
Not looing for a good drummer. Looking for an original, unique, amazing drummer. Must be proficient at double kick and have double kick pedal. Music is very mellow, jazzy and poppy, but that is not a reason to create boring drum parts. The drumset I envision for this project is a Sonor jungle kit with many percussion ad-ons. No big sets. Sometimes the drummer will be performing with just snare and cymbal and some bells and tamburine, and we need you to be able to impress the audience with just that one drum and one cymbal. Need to have high energy and intensity but know when to lay out too. Lots of brush work will be needed. Must be able to make the brushes sing. An array of rhythm styles, latin etc. will be used. Keyboardist, Bassist needed for Female fronted symphonic metal
New female-fronted symphonic/gothic metal band seeks 2nd guitarist, bass, and keyboardist. You should appreciate bands like Nightwish, After Forever, Epica, Within Temptation, Therion, and Amberian Dawn. We want to an American spin on the epic-melodic European metal sound.
For guitarists, it would be nice if you can share lead guitar duties. However, this is not required. It's more important that you like melodic metal and the European sound. Yes, the music can be cheesy, but it's also fun and becoming more popular.
We also have an opening for a keyboardist and bass player. We'd prefer at least one of these roles be female as well, but it is not essential. We'd also like at least one of them to handle the "growly" vocals, so we can pair you up with the lead singer for the classic beauty-and-the-beast formula.
This is keyboard driven metal: an epic sound with choir and string backgrounds -- and in a perfect world, technical enough to take a bold synth lead patch and do some solo tradeoffs with the guitars, though we are not going to be a prog band. Say 60% gothic, 20% melodic, 20% technical.
If you're in music school and looking for something a little fresher and less academic, this could be a good opportunity for you. We have our own talent and resources and can help you get exposure. Our singer graduated from MI and has international touring experience.
There isn't much in LA in terms of female-fronted symphonic metal, and what exists isn't as heavy and grooving as it could be. We will have a lockout by September, with every intention to start gigging once we are tight in rehearsal. We are not a cover band but will do a handful of covers early on to help us get started. We have 2 or 3 originals with a few more on the way.
Your age should be between 21-35. Please have your own car, though if you happen to live close to someone else in the band, and were a good fit, we could make an exception and carpool.

SEEKIING 3 R&B/POP VOCALISTS
I have been singing my entire life and am currently a solo artist looking to start a 4 piece pop/r&b female group. I along with my producer will be holding auditions for this group. We are looking for SERIOUS singers who have one goal in mind. SUCCESS. We are striving for singers who have dancing abilities along with writing abilities. We will be writing ALL ORIGINAL MATERIAL. Looking for some folks who like music and having fun
I moved to Los Angeles last month. I am 26 year old a writer/actor/comedian/musician. And I would like to get together with some people and start a band. Nothing earth shaking, just some groovy people hanging out playing instruments and having a good time. And if it turns into something earth shaking that's cool too. So I sing, play rhythm guitar, and drums. The bummer is that I don't have my drumset here, I had to leave it in Maine where I moved from. But I do have my sticks, a practice pad, a guitar, my voice and my spirit. I like ALL KINDS OF MUSIC BUT MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITES ARE BLUES JAZZ AND CLASSIC ROCK. One more thing. I don't have a car or driver's licencse I rely on the Metro Local and I get by with a little help from my friends. And I work parttime at Toy R Us where my schedule changes from week to week. But I have great faith in this and I KNOW that this will not deter my destiny of being in a band.
