Alternative Pop Rock Band Looking for Vocalist
We are in the process of starting an alternative pop rock band - ala Jimmy Eat World, Dashboard Confessional, Weezer, Paramore, Goo Goo Dolls, etc. We will be working on writing new material once we find the right person. The musicians in the band are solid from top to bottom - the guitarists play PRO gear and I don't use that term loosely. The arrangements and music will be good but we are looking for a vocalist who has a good ear and can contribute to the songwriting process and have the ability to come up with good hooks and melodies. We all have experience playing in bands before and have good music theory knowledge - we don't just call out fret #'s and read tabs. We are looking at starting very soon once we find the right vocalist. Our band name is distereo. We aren't going to just jump in a van and start touring without any real potential or plans in place, but want to get solid material down, play shows and gain a following. Then we will look at other possibilites. We are all clean cut guys and would like to find someone between 20ish to 28ish with a good image. No drugs, heavy drinkers, flakes. We will be doing some pro level recordings once we get some good material down. We aren't playing metal or hardcore - if your influences are ZZ Top, AC DC, Megdeath, Metallica, Slayer, etc. this is not the band for you. Looking for Guitarists and a Bass player
A buddy of mine and myself are forming a band. I'm a vocalist and he's a drummer. We are looking to start out as a Green Day cover band and eventually progress into collaborating with all band members to come up with some really good original stuff. Starting out as a cover band because al the current "official" Green Day cover bands suck, and there are a lot of sweet gigs for good cover bands. Looking for 2 guitar players and one bass player. Country/Rock Frontman (yeah I play) Lookin for a Band
HELLO???? are there any Country music fans in these hills??? I don't mean old stuff or new for that matter. I can do it all, plus I write my own. I prefer my sound LOUD (voice is pretty dynamic even when talking) and to have a ROCK or HEAVY edge. If your a fan of the newer think Trent Tomlinson, Jason Aldean, the new Gary Allen, some Trace Adkins. You get the picture. on the older and rock side think Conlee meets Fogerty, Anderson meets BonJovi (would say Cash meets Mellencamp to be cleverer with my John refrences, but that aint true). Open to doing Country Rock/Alt County or even Blues-Rock-Country cover band. You know a little Clapton, BTO, Stones, SRV, Skkynard, Creedance, ZZ TOP, you name it, give me a few takes to adjust my voice to the sound an d I could pull off anything. Any way, If you are reading this call me even if my vision aint yours. we might be able to network or just jam.

Bass player seeking all origional heavy rock/metal project
I'm 30yrs. old and have had the pleasure of being in a well established project in the Phoenix area. I am currently looking to pursue other avenues. My old project won the 98KUPD battle of the bands about three years ago and opened up for Trapt at the Tempe market place, along with many local venues. So I have plenty of stage experience. I've also been in the studio to complete an 11 track album. I play through a Fender 8-10 cab. with a SWR head. I play a 4-string Fender Jazz bass, Ibenez 4-string and a 5-string Schecter custom. I do have a day job and a 7yr old daughter so I'm not looking to tour the country. I'm very dedicated,and have reliable transportation. Hit me up if you need a pocket bass player. Hello. I'm a guitar player / vocalist. I've been playing for over 20 years and played semi professionally for nearly 10. I'm putting together a classic rock / blues bar band. I'm not looking to book lounge gigs on the river, but would consider some of the clubs and events in Laughlin. Other than that I am looking for a drummer, bass, and wither rhythm guitar or keyboard player. I'm looking to get back to the roots of what got me into playing in the first place. I'm not looking to do any top 40 or "flavor of the week" modern rock, unless it fits our format. I have played the bar scene from Las Vegas to Blythe and all along the Colorado River.
